For Self-Funded Employers

Get Your Free Cost Analysis

Tell us a little about your company and we will put together a free, no pressure look at your costs and where your plan stands. No pitch. No pressure.

A clear picture of your plan's costs — at no charge.

Most self-insured employers have no idea whether their health plan is competitive, overpaying, or leaving them exposed to compliance risk. This analysis changes that. We review your plan profile and give you an honest, readable summary of where you stand — no sales pitch, no obligation.

Cost Benchmarking

We compare your per-member per-month spend against comparable employers in your region and industry so you can see whether you are in line or overpaying.

Savings Opportunity Categories

We identify the highest-impact areas where self-funded plans typically leak money — specialty pharmacy, out-of-network utilization, and preventable chronic condition costs.

Compliance Exposure Summary

We flag the federal transparency and fiduciary requirements most likely to leave your plan exposed under the Consolidated Appropriations Act and Transparency in Coverage rules.

Physician-Steward Fit Assessment

We tell you whether your employer profile is a good fit for the Vxtra model and what you could expect your plan to look like with a physician-steward approach.

Built for middle-market self-insured employers.

The analysis is designed for self-funded employers with roughly 100 to 2,000 covered employees who are located in the Southeast, South, or Midwest. You may be re-evaluating your current TPA or carrier, managing rising renewal costs, or simply trying to understand whether your plan is running the way it should.

You do not need to be ready to switch plans. Many employers request this analysis before their next renewal cycle to understand their options and have the data they need to negotiate from an informed position.

If you are a benefits broker reviewing options for a client, you can also request an analysis on a client’s behalf. See our brokers page for more detail on how Vxtra works with advisors.

We keep the intake simple on purpose.

The form below takes less than two minutes to complete. We ask for your company name, your work email, and a rough sense of your employee count. That is enough to get started.

After you submit, a member of the Vxtra team may reach out to gather a few additional data points — typically your current plan type, approximate annual claim spend, and your renewal date. We use that to calibrate the analysis and make it as accurate as possible for your specific situation.

We do not ask for protected health information, employee-level claims data, or any documents that require data-sharing agreements to exchange. The intake is designed to be simple and low-friction.

Results in a few business days.

Most analyses are completed and returned within three to five business days of the initial conversation. We do not use automated reports — a member of the Vxtra team personally reviews your profile and prepares the summary.

When your analysis is ready, we will walk you through it on a short call or send a written summary, whichever you prefer.

Built on healthcare operations experience.

Vxtra Health was founded by operators with more than 30 years of combined experience on the payer, provider, and employer sides of healthcare. Our cost benchmarks draw on regional claims data and plan-level transparency files released under federal Transparency in Coverage requirements.

We flag what we can measure and are direct about what we cannot. You will get an honest assessment, not a document designed to sell you something.

No pitch. No pressure. Just an honest look at your costs.

Common questions.

Is this actually free?

Yes. There is no charge and no obligation. We offer this analysis because we would rather show you what the numbers say than make a case in the abstract.

What happens after I submit the form?

Someone from the Vxtra team will reach out within one business day to confirm your request and ask a few brief follow-up questions. We then prepare the analysis and return it within a few business days.

Do you share my information with anyone?

No. Your information is used only to prepare and deliver your analysis. We do not sell or share it with third parties.

We are not currently self-insured. Can we still request an analysis?

Yes. If you are evaluating a move to self-funding, the analysis can show you what that transition might look like for your employer size and profile.

Where does Vxtra Health currently operate?

Vxtra Health is currently launching in Augusta and Gainesville, GA, and expanding across the Southeast, South, and Midwest. If you are outside our initial markets, we can still prepare a preliminary analysis and let you know when coverage reaches your area.
